Die-Cut Boxes

Choose die-cut boxes if you’re looking for custom packaging that goes beyond the traditional four-flap American box. Die-cutting offers a tailored solution to meet specific needs, providing you with unique shapes and features that standard boxes can’t match.

During the die-cutting process, a special die, known as the cutting die, cuts and scores the cardboard sheet to create a box with a non-standard, desired shape. This precision allows for the creation of boxes with intricate features such as cutouts, shaped openings, flaps, and various complex closure systems.

Euroscatola manufactures a wide variety of die-cut boxes. Some of the most common types include the tote-style die-cut boxes, boxes designed for transporting one or more bottles, and boxes with a base and lid, interlocking bottoms, or three-point glue closures.

These boxes are made from single or double-wave corrugated cardboard, available in both kraft and white finishes. Custom printing is available on both the inside and outside of the boxes, turning your packaging into a powerful marketing tool.

Compared to traditional boxes, die-cut boxes offer several advantages:

  • They better fit the shape and size of the contained product, saving raw materials and preventing the use of unnecessarily large boxes.

  • They use alternative closure systems, such as interlocking designs or flaps, eliminating the need for adhesive tape.

  • Their custom design enhances both functionality and aesthetics, elevating the product and the brand’s image.

For secure transport, especially for small and fragile items, we also design custom internal components for our die-cut boxes. We use filling materials such as shredded paper, compensators, and shaped internal dividers, all made exclusively from cardboard. These inserts are shaped to match the form of the product inside (e.g., jewelry, cosmetics, glasses), ensuring that the item is perfectly cushioned and protected.
