Their success is due to the inherent properties of corrugated cardboard. Lightweight but incredibly durable, corrugated cardboard provides excellent protection against impacts, compression, and stress. The box does not deform and arrives intact at its destination, along with the product inside.

The secret to the strength of cardboard lies in its structure: two flat sheets separated by a wave, which can be single, double, or triple. Hence the name “corrugated.” The configuration of the wave has many variations. The height and pitch of the wave, meaning the distance between the peaks of two consecutive waves, can also vary within certain measurement ranges.

From the wave structure come the mechanical and load-bearing properties of the box. This particular configuration allows us to determine the packaging’s strength according to transportation needs, ensuring stability even for bulky loads.
